Samantha Ramage

Samantha graduated from Lakehead University’s Bora Laskin Faculty of Law in 2016 making her a member of the faculty’s first alumni. Samantha was also a founding member of the Indigenous Law Students’ Association and completed her Integrated Practice Curriculum (IPC) placement with Falconers LLP in 2015. Samantha has lived throughout both northwestern and northeastern Ontario before her family settled on Manitoulin Island in 1998. Samantha is a first generation student and is the daughter of an Ontario Provincial Police officer and a nickel miner. Samantha’s favourite people are her three younger brothers, David, Boston and Bryce. She loves the outdoors, her dog Grizz, and sugar bush season. A proud feminist, Samantha carries with her a passion for gender equality, the rights of victims of crime, and Indigenous sovereignty.
